Co just finished his last swim lesson of the season so I thought I would post a couple pics.

"Meeting Amazing Grace"
My mom recommended this book to me. It is so good! It gave this analogy that I loved so much that I want to share.
Suddenly they were standing in the middle of . . . . . .
"A chicken coop!" Lindsey said in disbelief. "What are we doing in a chicken coop?"
"We're going to learn a lesson from nature. See that hen over there? She's sitting on an egg, and has been patiently fulfilling that duty off and on for twenty-one days."
The hen waddled away and they watched the egg. It began to crack slightly, all on it's own.
" A baby chick is inside and wants to come out," Lindsey said.
"Brillant. Keep watching"
Soon they saw a tiny beak make its way out by pecking at the shell from inside. For a long time they watched that baby chick peck away at the shell. The mother hen made no move to help. It squirmed and wriggled and pecked for most of the day. Obviously, it was a real struggle for the baby chick.
"If nature's so smart, why wasn't the hen designed to help the chick get out? A few good pecks from the mother and the job would be done , "Lindsey said.
"True, but what would happen to the baby chick?"
"It would probably really appreciate it, so it could get on with its life."
"Wrong. It would be too weak to survive. You see, it gains its strength from the struggle."

The Race and Mother's Day
This year we had the Gibby's over for Mother's Day
We played a very intense game of Croquet. Bryant was poison before some of us were even through the second loop.
Later that night we went to my Mom's and Coen got ambushed by Jeff and Bryant (can you believe it, his own father).
